This update fixes the compatibility issue with firmware 1.1.3.
This update will allow you to use themes with 1.1.3. . .but it will ‘break’ some themes. If you install a theme and it doesn’t show up in the list of themes in SMBPrefs then this theme hasn’t been updated and you will need to FTP(winscp) into your iPhone or iPod Touch and move them to the new directory.

Hi,
Is the update automatic? Do I have to do anything?
Thxs

It’s automatic. As soon as you open Summerboard and refresh it you should see it in the update list.

I have 1.1.3 on my jailbroken ipod and have this version of summerboard on it.
however when I restart and then open the app and choose a theme then restart the springboard it does not make any difference. I have placed the theme in another directory with an FTP program and it makes no difference
If I go to summerboard on my iPod and scroll down to the bottom, like in picture 2 of this post, it says::
SMB Prefs
Summerboard (Inactive)
As I see in the picture posted it says: ( Active) but mine does not.
Could anyone help me with this!!!!!!!!
Thanks

I have heard of this issue with users who used the ipodtouchmaster jailbreak method. I did used that JB method, so I haven’t had that issue. . .so I am not really sure what will fix it.
I have heard you will need to restore and use either ZiPhone or the official Dev Team method.

oh great !! :((
Oh well thank for all your advice!
can I just jailbreak it to 1.1.2 and just install the official dev team package??

It says “FTP with WINSCP into your iPhone” in the post. Do I have to use WINSCP or can I use any other program. For example LOELINK. It is an online SFTP-client. I always use http://www.loelink.com to transfer files to my iPhone. The advantage is that I don’t have to install anything. I can use it when I want and wherever I am.

You should be able to use any SFTP client
