Apple Rejecting LOTS of SDK Developers

March 15, 08 by Doug

It seems although you may want to pay Apple 99 dollars and develop an application for distribution in the ‘App Store’. . .Apple may not want you.

There has been many reports of developers rejected with the following response. . .

“Dear Registered iPhone Developer,

“Thank you for expressing interest in the iPhone Developer Program. We have received your enrollment request. At this time, the iPhone Developer Program is available to a limited number of developers and we plan to expand the program during the course of the beta period. We will contact you again regarding your enrollment status at the appropriate time. Thank you for applying.

“Best regards, iPhone Developer Program.”

I’m not sure if they are just bombarded with requests or not. . .it just doesn’t look good for Apple.
