I even tried to ssh into my ipod to manually uninstall screenshot, but that didn't work. It fixed the stripes, but then the screen wasn't responding to my touch. Ipod touch - touch = paper weight. I force restored but kept the backup settings, and still had the same problem. Pretty much the only way to get rid of it for me was to completely restore it to the manufacturers settings.
