eBay Flooded with $0.99 iPhones

Unlike what another blog would like you to think, eBay has actually been getting lots of new iPhone auctions. . .and very cheap ones too.

Many people have been waiting for the eve of the iPhone 3G’s introduction to pounce on cheap first generation iPhones on eBay and Craigslist. These people are upset. For some reason, contrary to what you’d think, first generation iPhones are going for astronomical prices. Craigslist is full of people offering up to $600 for 16GB iPhones and up to $400 for 8GB models.

Maybe they found some people trying to turn a profit on Craigslist(who would have thought). Actually if you check these auctions. . .you’ll notice a lot of iPhones being just added to eBay for the low low price of 99 cents. And even more going for up to $50.00.

Of course these won’t sell for this cheap. . .at least right now. But it is a sign of what is to come in the next 7 days. With more and more people getting their new iPhones. . .and getting everything switched over. You will continue to see more being sold on eBay, and the competition will begin to heat up on Craigslist.
