DFU mode is something that itunes wont recongnise your firmware and allows install any version on your iphone. Connect your iphone to itunes. Power off the iphone. Press Home+Sleep for 7 Sec, and release sleep button but continue holding home button. i Tunes will show your iphone (in system tray messages as "iphone in DFU mode") Thats it. look into itunes, you see restore button. Press shift+Restore button and then give custom iPSw file location to your computer. You are done. Caution: you need to run iPwn before you do all those above steps. hi Johnny ,
