WOW!! ARTIMIS VICE, finally someone has the same problem i have!! (i thought i was alone on this and trying to fix it by myself is driving me crazy) My phone app doesn’t work either and i thought it was Kate as well but after been removed the problem remains, not sure what to do… did u manage to fix it already?
Please do help us, it will much appreciated..

Ok. I jailbroke my phone and the “phone” app stopped. I was prompted to remove Kate, via some friends. Ok, now Kate is gone. My phone app still no works. Please help me, someone.

hey, how can you get iShare on intaller 4.0?? i have quickpwnd my ipodtouch 2.2 firmware and i need iShare but i cant find it so please if you have a source thatll make iSahre available or another method then please reply back.

Also the sources when i added them no new applications showed up so do i have to do something else to make it work? lol i guess im a noob in the ipod section eh but please help.

Hi,

I’m using beta 6 but everytime I click on any app to download it, Installer quits and returns me to Springboard. The directory and file permissions are 777 recursively.
Can anyone help me?

irisha on quikepwn you can change the boot logo to the pinapple but you cant change it if you were to change it you would have to re jailbreak

I finished jailbreaking, activating and unlocking an old 1.0.2, 3.9BL iphone using the Quickpwn 2.0.1, installing Cydia and Installer, loading up all the Sources for both Cydia and Installer and the phone looks as good as NEW! I am proud of what I had finished. One thing though, if some one could help me – the apple logo has become a pineapple logo when i boot the phone. Anyone who can tell me how I can replace this with the original apple logo? Please give me detailed version as I am just a naive user(graphical tips only welcome). Thanks!

I had the same problem with my 3g as well, it went away as soon as I uninstalled “Kate” out of my phone. That software is nothing but trouble I tell ya!!

Hello, I just downloaded Installer 4.0 everything works fine but now I can’t dial any phone numbers, the phone keypad doesn’t respond in phone mode. I can receive calls and send txt I just can’t dial out. Anyone got any ideas….

I recently jailbroke my iphone 3G, but I wasn’t sure if I should have gotten the Cydia App on the phone. All I have is the installer 4 beta version.
is there a way to install cydia on the phone?

@leo, you can install the ‘community sources’ package in Installer and it will add the sources listed here
