Updating to Firmware 2.0.2

Apple went ahead and released the 2.0.2 firmware. Sadly the only documentation on this update says that it’s just ‘bug fixes’. Everyone has been hoping that this will improve the connectivity for the iPhone 3G.
I am updating my iPod Touch to 2.0.2 right now. It’s currently backing up, so it might take a while. As with any update we assume this breaks the ‘jailbreak’. . .and the current versions of the PwnageTool, WinPwn, and Quick Pwn will not work with the 2.0.2(again, I’m only assuming).
If anyone knows for sure, respond and let us know. . .for now I will continue to wait for iTunes to update my iPod.
REMEMBER - If you want to continue with your jailbroken applications do NOT update to 2.0.2.

I’m update too, but can’t ‘jailbreak’, also can’t downgrade to 2.01.

i followed all the steps how to jailbreak my iphone 2.0.1. and i did it i got cydia on my homescreen it works fine i was happy when i finally jailbreak mine but im also sad there is no network on my iphone AT&t no bars no at&t name on left top wifi works ok.. my only problem is no network plss help me. i restored my iphone and updated to 2.0.2 and i messed up all my files on my iphone my contacts my massages my pictures uuuhhhggggg!!! help me plsssss

Guess What i have a jailbroken ipod touch and iphone with firmware 2.0.2 and it works fine with the jailbroken firmware download Quickpwn update your devices to 2.0.2 and after that close itunes next open quickpwn click on the device you want to jailbreak on next it will ask you for where is your ipod/iphone firmwares locate them on your computer once selected click arrow below to follow the next steps.
Quickpwn works for firmwares 2.0 , 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 for both devices
Must have above non jailbroken device for this to work.

where to find the software ..firmware 2.0.2 which is downloaded to itunes and updated in iphone..now would like to jailbreak but quickpwn wants o locate it….where to find it in laptop i have windows vista

I want’s to update my iphone.
Which version is best for iphone 2.0 or 2.0.1 or 2.0.2.
Any problem to update this .
The 1.1.4 app are works in those firmwares 2.0,2.0.1,2.0.2.
Pls tell me.

@Rag - You will need to update to 2.0.2. Though I would wait until the 2.1 windows jailbreak is released then just upgrade to 2.1(best firmware so far).
Most of the 3rd party applications that word in 1.1.4 do not work in 2.0 and above(most moved to the App Store).
