The developers behind the application WinPwn has announced a release date for version 2.5. You can look forward to this update today(around 2PM EST).
I have to say by the looks of the screenshots, this will be an amazing update. Stay tuned, I will keep this post updated when its released, and as I test it.

actualy never mind, i have just had a look at the specs of the new 1 and there isnt really that much of a reason to switch.

I have been able to jailbreak my iphone 3g without a problem with the the winpwn software(2.0, 2.01), i can’t wait for the 2.5 version.

Does anyone else notice that the custom screens dont work? It keeps telling me that the image size is too large, although they are actually much smaller than the 100kb limit.
Also, when you click browse to browse them from the web that doesnt work either.

Hi guys
Just wanna say i have downloaded winpwn 2.5 jailbroken/ unlocked my iphone first gen using a UK orange sim yet again with no hassles. When i first bought my phone way back when it was 1.1.4 i used Ziphone but since 2.0 i’ve used pwn of some sort without a single hitch. I’m not the sharpest of peeps on a pc but just followed the steps with all the pwnage tools and i’ve been just fine and dandy lol. I’m amazed once again job done easy as feck.

hi, i have used winpwn 2.5, it’s all ok, then apps stopped workin, one fix said to use quickpwn instead, so i did, this then took away my itunes account so i could not load any apps at all. i have since read that the fault of the apps not working was due to itunes 7.7.1. i then re winpwned the phone (twice before it worked) lost ll contact details (not happy). what is th difference between winpwn and quick pwn and why would you need it?
