PdaNet, made hugely popular with Windows Mobile and PalmOS, is now released fro the iPhone. It allows your laptop(or desktop) to go online wirelessly by connecting it to your iPhone through WiFi. PdaNet goes through the unlimited data plan on your phone and does not require any extra services.
Since NetShare was removed from the App Store(used for tethering) everyone has been looking for an alternative. PdaNet is yet another Killer Application to grace the jailbroken community.
Note - If you don’t know how to setup an ad-hoc connection, simply touch the question mark icon(bottom left) and it will take you to a page with step by step instructions.

By far one of the best apps out there. It works seamlessly. Its the number one reason to jailbreak an iPhone

Works like a charm! But drains your battery faster than you can charge it. Even plugged into a wall charger, I couldn’t keep the battery up. Made my iPhone super hot as well. But works great!
