TheZip lets you point out a zip and either zip or unzip it.
TheZip allows you to compress files into a zip format or unzip compressed files. For zipping files, enter the directory of where you want the zip file made, then the location of the files you want zipped in the first box. For example: /Example.zip /ExampleFile.jpg Then press the red Zap! button. For unzipping files enter the location of the zip in the second box and then press the Zap! button. For Example: /Example.zip
No doubt this app is useful, most users can’t remember the path to a certain file, nor want to type in that every time. I’d suggest using an alternative like MobileFinder, from the App Store, or something with a GUI for this kind of job.

so, uh, where does the app save the unzipped file to? I can’t find it anywhere.
also, is it case sensitive?
do you have to put the whole path (eg. /var/mobile/library/downloads/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV – Turtles in Time.zip)? or can you just put like /library/downloads/file.zip like it says in mobilefinder? because that is a lot to type, especially if it is case sensitive…
