The future of BossPrefs is here: A full BossPrefs replacement. Move your important toggles directly into Springboard where they are always available instantly even while other apps are running.

A simple swipe on the status bar will pull down the main menu. You can pull down this menu from within any application to access familar toggles like 3G, EDGE, Wifi and SSH. The menu will also diplay options to respring, or access various power settings to power down the device or reboot. The menu will also display information about your device like it’s name, wifi ip, cellular ip, and memory.

Under the ‘more’ menu, you can adjust what toggles display in the main menu. 3G, EDGE, wifi, Bluetooth, Phone, and SSH. Just like BossPrefs, Poof (app used to hide applications) integration is supported, along with other toggles like one for the App Kill Switch, numeric battery, and fix permissions.

This is definitely going to evolve to be a full BossPrefs replacement. Once more features like user made toggles for other apps like FreePops will greatly enhance the application’s functionality. But for now this is a fast way to toggle off system services and worth downloading.

I want to see a bossprefs replacement that puts everything in the original ’settings’ app.

^^^^ well then just use Settings. they’re not going to create a BossPrefs that is exactly like Settings. it’d be a waste.

i like this app. takes one icon off my springboard and very easy to bring up

Would it be possible to put the LOCK button right on the main menu?

Lock as in the lock button that is in the “power” settings. I’d like to easily lock my iPhone without having to press that horrible hard power button on top. I’d even like a soft lock button on my dockbar. Thanks!
