WildEyes! is a file viewer/reader. WildEyes! supports viewing of documents (PDF, DOC, etc), images (PNG, JPG, etc), and media files (MOV, MP3, etc). You can view/read/play files directly in WildEyes! and no longer depends on Safari.

WildEyes! is a browser allowing you to view media and documents within your file system directly through WildEyes! The interface is simple to use starting by showing the root folder and lets you go from there. There is no type of bookmark support so you can’t goto a commonly used folder quickly. WildEyes! has no ability to delete or move files, something I think is useful for this kind of app. Despite some shortcomings, what it can do is done well. Once you’ve found a file you want to play/view simply select it and it’ll play/open that file.

WildEyes! isn’t free, but fortunately it has a trial so you can see if you like it your self. Perhaps it’ll be worth your money, but for me, it offers too little to pay for.
