Hey Dan,

I think I know what you're talking about. I don't see 'lines' on my screen. . .but I can tell that it is on the screen. I've been using it for about 4-5 months and it's nothing horrible. You definitely get used to it.

Oddly enough i did the exact opposite that you did. I kept the front part, and removed the back(I'm more worried about the glas scratching than the back of the device).

I was actually sorely disappointed with my InvisibleShield on my iTouch. What they don't tell you is that the material they use has little random lines in it, it's unavoidable, and it's just part of the nature of the material. These lines light up like neon on the iTouch screen and are VERY distracting and annoying. And since they're not scratches (which the product has a lifetime warranty against ever getting), but LINES, see, they won't really help you with it, you're just stuck. Re-reading their warranty and product information, you can see that they've very cagily set themselves up not to be on the hook for this "lines" issue.

To their credit, they did grudgingly give me a one-time replacement, which was as bad or worse than my original one. I ended up using the back piece to keep the chrome clean, but took it off the screen. Real shame, this could be a killer product, but the material they use is just fundamentally flawed and blemished and they're basically unwilling to cop to that.
