Dev Team Developing Jailbird
January 16, 09 by Daniel
Jailbird is a new ‘pwnage’ tool in development by the Dev Team. It serves to be a replacement for WinPwn, which is great for Windows users because WinPwn has not been updated in ages. Just like the Mac Pwnage tool, Jailbird will do all the same things like jailbreak your iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch, along with activate/unlock both iPhones by building custom ISPW (firmware) files. The initial release is scheduled for some time in February.

Are you sure this is from the dev team? Because as far as I know, they’re focused on creating a redsn0w payload. I could not find any single thing about “Jailbird” on their blog, wiki, The iPhone Wiki, nor the Hackint0sh forums.
