Jailbreak 2.2.1

Update – The iPhone Dev Team has released a quick update to The Pwnage Tool and QuickPwn to jailbreak the 2.2.1 iPhone and 2.2.1 iPhone 3G. The best part is that they released both the Mac and Windows versions at the same time.

So today Apple announced and released an firmware update for the iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G. I know what you’re asking. . .’is it jailbreakable?’ There hasn’t been any word from the iPhone Dev team except ‘we are looking into it’. The update improves stability with MobileSafari and also fixed something with the Camera Roll. . .nothing major.

Stay updated and I will make sure you know as soon as a jailbreak is released.

    Hey Bosslady, you’ll need to restore to a default firmware to get out of recovery mode

    hi! i really need help! my phone froze so i had to restore it but i was planning on jailbreaking it again since i’ve done it before! but i noticed that the newest version is 2.2.1 so i found this site and started with quickpwn, but where is the ipsw?? it’s asking for it and i can’t find one anywhere! i clicked on that link and i dont see it! please help!
