The Blackberry is Jealous Now

It’s funny that I would post a Blackberry commercial on an iPhone website, but after you see it you’ll understand why. It’s funny that as soon as Apple said they were making a smartphone everyone laughed(even myself). But since the launch of the iPhone no other company has made such an impact.

    Tell me about it. This years CTIA has been showing off nothing but cell phones with touch screens. Before the iPhone the closest thing to a touch screen were phones that used a stylus.

    Also, look at what Microsoft is doing with it’s touch screen OS. It has icons arranged in a hexagonal grid. Yep, they came up with that idea all on their own.

    Now there are 3 or 4 companies getting ready to start up their own application stores. Windows Mobile and Palm have had places to buy/download software for their respective OS’s for years. Now all of a sudden, they have to have AppStores?

    Clearly, Apple has made a huge impact.

    I totally agree Dave.

    The touch screen interface is a dual edge sword though. While it’s easy to replicate, it also creates a bunch of competition(like the Palm Pre). But the real competitors will be the ones that think outside the box, and not just re-create the same UI(as you mentioned with Microsoft).

    you know what, that “drop” sound ya hear (most likely to be the sound when yr finger touch the screen) is nicked form a Pink Floyd song. What a sellout, Pink Floyd! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO INTEGRITY!?

    Lol… there is no way in… anywhere a blackberry can either kill Apple with its smartphone or a blackberry going at a couple million miles an hour… :)
