I love being able to view my battery status as a percentage rather than the not-so-accurate graphic intidactor.
Unfortunately SMSettings last update in accordance with 3.0.1 update, we started seeing both styles side by side in the status bar. Not so great if you're also displaying date/time/free memory on the bar through SMSettings. Suddenly my bar was cluttered.
Battery Control is a nice workaround. If SMSettings ever finds a workaround for the side by side display I might still keep Battery Control as I really like having the option to remove the battery status alltogether.
