iCampFire

iCampFire lets you see a(n) almost realistic camp fire. You can put your iPhone aside and look at the beautiful camp fire, or you can push on the fire to hear it crackle.

I have to admit, I can’t believe someone didn’t think of this awhile ago. It reminds me of the Christmas video that came out eons ago of a fire place fire and Christmas music playing over top of it.

This, of course, lacks any soundtrack, but is most definitely realistic. The adds are a bit of a detractor, though.

This isn’t a life altering app, by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s always cute to see what developers do with their free time.

Again, this is one of those apps that asks for location permission, yet still functions if you do not allow it.
