sebNews is a very good RSS reader for your iPhone and iPod Touch. Feed items are very well organized by either the specific feeds or just unread feeds. Then when you start reading through them you get a nice view of the titles separated by the publish date.
As you may have known, I love Tetris on the iPhone(especially when it uses that touch/slide controls). EA has released an official version in the App Store and I have to say, it’s the best I’ve played so far. The price point might be higher than some would hope, but then again it is an official release(remember, it’s EA!).
If you’re a fan of the classic game ‘Bubble Bobble’ then you’ll love this game. With over 100 levels and 17 different kinds of bubbles this game is the premier bubble game on the iPhone.
Phit is a puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that you can get from the App Store for $1.99. Phit reminds me of tetris. . .with more of a puzzle twist. This game had me addicted for like an hour and a half the first time I sat down with it.
Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination. Water, Oil, and Lava fall from Droppers and bounce around the walls of the puzzle. You move and roate various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges, in order to diver the flow of the falling droplets.
This game is only available in the App Store and does cost $9.99. . .but IMO it is well worth it. I love a good puzzle game.
You might remember this application as Tap Tap Revolution. . .which got sold, and stripped down(due to the limitations of the iPhone SDK). This application used to let you pull your own music tracks to use. . .Apple doesn’t allow this in App Store Applications. They did add downloadable tracks though, which kick ass since it’s all free(even the downloadable tracks).
Note - The arrows are for the accelerometer use. . .not for ’sliding’.
This is a full motion video Texas Hold’em game from Apple Inc. themselves. This graphics for this application are awesome and it uses the accelerometer throughout the game(to switch between 1st person and birds eye view). This game also supports up to 9 players in ‘WiFi Multiplayer’ mode.
Sadly this isn’t free, but it only costs $4.99 from the App Store.
