Why not check out this website I have been working on. . .AppStoreApps.com?
With over 500 applications available in the App Store at launch alone, who wants to go through all those iPhone Apps just to find the good ones.
Also when the majority of the applications are paid apps(only 125 are free), you want to make sure the application performs exactly how you want it to.
Bookmark the website now. . .www.AppStoreApps.com. . .the official launch will be Monday at 8am EST.
Here are two tutorials. . .you can pick which one you’d like to use. I will be setting up an easy guide soon. Tutorial 1 Tutorial 2
UPDATE 3 - The Pwnage Tool 2.0 has been released. Click HERE for more details.
Click here or here or here or here to download the Pwnage Tool 2.0.
UPDATE 2 - From what I read, this video was released by the actual iPhone Dev Team, so it is real.
The iPhone 2.0 firmware has already been jailbroken and unlocked by the iPhone Dev Team.
This has been confirmed on Gizmodo and they say the Dev Team will release the code ’soon’.
I will post again as soon as it is released with a step by step how-to for upgrading, jailbreaking, and unlocking your new iPhone 3G(or upgraded 2.0 firmware).
UPDATE - Could this be the new iPhone 3G Jailbreak or Unlock(or both) application. . .PwnageTool 2.0?
Warning - If you like any 3rd party applications or themes that you have gotten from Installer(or Cydia), they will be ‘deactivated’ if you update to the 2.0 firmware. Some applications are listed in the App Store now. . .but until the hackers get a chance to get into the code. . .we have to wait.
I hear there is something like 500+ applications available via the App Store. . .and over 125 are free. Now I also hear that a lot of those free applications aren’t very exciting(but I haven’t checked for myself).
Stay updated here at InstallerApps.com and I will post any information about jailbreaking the new firmware when I get it.
With the launch of the initial iPhone, user generated music videos sprang up one after another. It makes me wonder if the same will happen with the iPhone 3G. . .
So this past week I took every ‘game’ listed here in the Games category and broke them up into 7 different polls. I will allow voting to go on for 1 more week. . .and then we will start ‘Round 2′ of the ‘contest’.
Just in case you forgot to vote in Round 1. . .here are the 7 parts. . .
Tell your friends to vote too. . .the more that participate the better. See if your favorite applications make it to Round 2 of the Favorite iPhone Games contest.
I’ve been having an issue with my iPod Touch lately. So I would be changing themes. . .and taking screenshots for SMBThemes.com. Then all of a sudden it would reboot my iPod. . .and about 30-45 seconds after the Apple logo, I would see black and white stripes scrolling down the screen. . .and flashing over and over. I thought this would fix itself if I let it sit there, but sadly it did not.
I thought it was the MMiThemer application. . .but after some research it seems that this happens because of the application ‘Screenshot’.
I can’t fully say that this is the reason or not. . .but I am testing this today. I will use Capture instead of Screenshot. . .and hopefully it will prevent me from having to restore again(I’ve had to restore ~4-5 times over the past 2 weeks). It’s just surprising that I never had this issue before. I mean I have been using the Screenshot application for months.
Have you had this issue that forced you to restore?
