I hear the price for the full version is 29 dollars so beware.

MobileCast has been updated and now works on the 2.1 firmware(I assume it works on the 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2 firmware too). This update also adds streaming functionality(instead of just downloading) as well as a hand full of bug fixes.

This application also got a UI redesign making it easier to watch and download your podcasts.

psx4iphone has been updated and now works on the 2.1 firmware(and I assume 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2 as well). I can only assume the issue with the controller means that this is a ‘working release’.

Snapture has been updated to 2.0 and now works with the 2.0+ firmware.

Note – It seems 2.1 has broken this application, and it will have to be updated again.

A cool new feature(that is available when you purchase the application) is quick view mode. Here you can see the thumbnails of the pictures you’ve taken with the application(stacked). Touching the stack brings the thumbnails up, and from here you can delete individual pictures at will(by swiping). Check the video for a demo of this new feature.

Dock has been updated to 3.10 and comes with a great new features.

This is all configurable. . .but this is how I had it setup.

When you activate the left dock you see menu icons, touching a menu and you’ll see some applications for that menu. Go back down and then to another menu and you’ll see different applications.

When you activate the right dock, you’ll see it’s just like the old version of Dock(with the ability to scroll through all of the applications).

Installer 4.0b6 has now been released and it comes with some anticipated features.

The 2 biggest features in this update(in my eyes) are ’search’ and an ‘update notification’(for all newer versions). Here’s the changelog from RipDev themselves. . .

* Search. It searches among packages from the repositories you have added, and, if you let it sit for 5 seconds, will query our server and return packages that are available from repositories you don’t have added (that we know about) with an option to automatically add and install. Repository owners, upgrade to the latest version of the repo code (below) to have your repository added to the search engine.
* Uninstall now works correctly.
* Fixed a lot of locking issues especially with custom HTML info pages.
* Updated the ‘categories’ and ‘tasks’ icons so they are less ugly.
* Fixed a bug with multiple copies of Installer appearing in Installed Packages under some circumstances.
* Installer will now correctly check and prompt for an update of itself.

Betty’s Cookbook has been updated and is now compatible with the 2.0+ firmware.

Insomnia has been updated to version 2.0 and now works with the 2.0+ firmware.

Poof has been updated to work with the 2.0(and 2.0.1 firmware). We also get a new UI for hiding/showing applications. I have to say that this is a MUCH better way to do this.

BossTool has been updated to work with the 2.0(and 2.0.1) firmware. . .and that’s about it.

With the new partition system, I don’t really see a use for this application. . .unless you just want to move the ringtones/fonts.

BossPrefs has been updated to 2.12b. This makes the application compatible with the 2.0(and 2.0.1) firmware. I dont see any other changes besides new edge/3g settings.

Make it Mine was updated to 1.0-2. In this update the developers combined the Banner and the Make it Mine applications as well as making it compatible with the 2.0 and 2.0.1 firmware.

You can now customize the ‘Carrier’ and ‘Time’ text in the status bar at the top of the screen.

Type in what you want to be in the Carrier spot, and then touch the Carrier button. The same goes with the time or ‘Banner’ spot too.

Respring was updated to 2.0. In this update they made it compatible with the 2.0 and 2.0.1 firmware.

ReSpring lets you restart your SpringBoard. . .which is like a ’soft reset’. In the same way a Windows user would restart explorer.exe to free up system resources. . .the same can be done with SpringBoard.
