Anonymous? Have you ever wanted to be anonymous? Now you have a chance, don’t waste it. This application allows you to send an email that comes from any email account you wish, it works without any configuration.

Much like the spoof phone app, now you can email an anonymous email to anyone you know. Populate your recipient information as well as the information you wish to send from (presumably not YOUR own email account, of course, that would defeat the purpose of the app) and write away.

Now, of course, one can quickly and easily think of all the trouble one can cause with such an app (and now would be a good time to assert our non-liability clause!)

It’s like any tool; it’s a weapon if you hold it right. What you do with it is your call, but I still feel the need to remind you, gentle reader, it’s always ill-advised to cause harm. That karma thing might just get you.

Keep in mind, since this isn’t your REAL email address, you get one shot at your email. All replies will not come back to you.

GV Mobile brings the power of Google Voice to the iPhone.

If you use Google Voice, this is an app to get. It was originally on the App Store, but removed at the same time for no reason when Google submitted their own Google Voice app. You can do everything you would from the web page. Make call, send and receive SMS. Listen to your voice mails. Even edit settings like which phone numbers receive calls. Now if only it had push notification.

Enables you to search your text messages, forward reply, and use of drafts and templates!

SMSTool brings features similar to most email clients. You can view and search your inbox, sent text messages, view and use templates, drafts, and notes as new text messages.

In the inbox view and sent messages view you’re given a search bar at the top to enter keywords. It’s a little laggy if you’ve got a big database. When vuewing an individual message you have the option of forwarding it, reply, email it, or save as a template by hitting the bottom left button.

With either the templates, drafts, and notes. All can be viewed and forwarded just as easy as your sent and recieved. You can even create new ones within the app.

If this app worked for me I probably would’ve enjoyed what it brings to the table. But alas, any attempt I made to set my email account never worked. I tried POP, and IMAP with Gmail, yes they’re both enabled, I tried different user names and it would never work. If you can get this app to work properly then by all means don’t let my low score stop you from using it.

QuickBirthday, convenient notification for birthdays and events in QuickBoard.

QuickBirthday is a module for QuickBoard, the same back end for QuickSMS. Like QuickSMS, you press the vine up button on your device to bring up QuickBoard. If you have QuickSMS installed it’ll goto that first, but you can go to QuickBoard from the bottom button. From the Quickboard go to QBirthday and you’re now set to make events and add birthdays to your contacts. Any upcoming events/birthdays made will appear on the lock screen, and you’ll get a pop up notification of the upcoming events.

I’m sorry for a lack of screenshots, how QuickBoard apps work I’m unable to take them as both the home and sleep/wake button dismiss QuickBoard.

QuickSMS is an SMS client that runs inside SpringBoard eliminating the need to wait for an SMS app to load.

Ever get a text message when doing something on your iPhone and you want to reply, but don’t want to go back to the SpringBoard and load up the SMS app. Quick SMS is the solution to that problem. Quick SMS is a replacement for the SMS app which is accessible from any other application simply by pressing your volume up button. The app will swoosh onto your screen to let the texting commence.

Sending a text is the same as usual but you’re given more features not found in the default SMS app, Emoji icons, emoticons, delay timers, encryption, contact, note, and template insertion. Once you’re done, simple press the volume down, or home button to close it.

File2Mail allows you to browse, search, filter, and sent multiple files on your iPhone to any email account.

File2Mail is an easy to use app to send any file on your iPhone or iPod Touch via email. From the main screen you’re greeted with many options on finding your desired files. You can either browse through the file system of your device by directory, let the device auto search a given directory and all sub-directories, or set search filters by keyword, creation or modification date, and relative size, then only files meeting the above criteria will show in the previously mentioned searches.

Once you’ve made your choices, return to the main menu and select “show selected files”. From here you can double check you’ve got the files you want selected and delete any unnecessary ones. Once you’re happy with your choices, hit the little mail icon up top which will prompt you for the recipient’s email address and optional text. You’ll also have to go into the SMTP settings below and enter in your information for your email account. After that’s done, send, and you should have a new email shortly.

This is a good app, it’s short and to the point. Point, click, send. There was only two minor annoyances I had with the File2Mail. Doing a directory search would sometimes crash the app, but it could be understand able if it’s digging through a lot of folders and listing them all at once, and better Mail integration. I only say this because not everyone memorizes their email provider’s SMTP information. Other than that, this app is worth the time.

The backup utility for your SMS! iTextUploader works together with YouArchive.It to store your precious messages “in the cloud” (in a remote database), so they are always available, no matter when and where you are! Browse your archive directly from iTextUploader! Restore then your custom set of messages directly inside the phone!

iTextUploader is an easy to use SMS backup utility with a web utility backend to support it’s features. Simply make an account at youarchive.it, login and set some prefernces then login in iTextUploader. Once you’re logged in backing up your SMS database just press the big upload button to upload your text messages.

You also have the ability to browse through your uploaded SMS messages through a web interface by date, phone number, or search by keyword. You’re able to browse through your messages at youarchive.it.

To restore your database you’ll need to go to youarchive.it to set up a export package. Once you’ve set one just load iTextUploader and hit the restore option. Your database will automatically be imported on your phone.

If you’re in need of a backup utility, perhaps you’re restoring your phone and want to use something other than iTunes to backup, or you’d like a remote backup in the “cloud” iTextUploader is something you should check out.
