With the help of ‘Your Repository‘. InstallerApps.com now has it’s own custom repository.
If an application or theme is listed here then it will be available when you add our repository source to Installer on your iPhone or iPod Touch. All you have to do is add. . .
http://iphone.installerapps.com
. . .then refresh Installer and you’ll be able to install every application(and theme) reviewed here. Currently there are more than 300 applications in the repository(315 as of right now. . .I believe). If at any time you can’t find an application from this source(or you just have a question), just contact me to let me know.
The best part is that you can make your own custom repository source(s). Maybe you want just games, or just themes. You can click here and create your own account and your own source.
Update – A member asked how this source would work with ‘duplicates’ and updates. They were scared that adding this source would cause a loop of updates(from one source to the other). This will NOT happen if you add this source to your Installer.
So whether you have 0 sources in your iPhone. . .or if you have 100+(like I do). . .adding this source will NOT cause any conflicts.
I just wanted to do a quick post explaining the reason for a ‘lack of reviews’ lately. I know I am behind(with emails too) and will hopefully be able to make things normal soon.
This past Saturday I lost my Mother(the funeral was yesterday). . .so it’s been hard to get back into the daily tasks. . .but I am trying.
I don’t want to get too personal here. . .but I will /try/ to do a post about it on my personal blog.
Before it was set to only allow registered members to vote and rate an application listed here. Since the contest I have noticed that the more you vote. . .the better our ‘Best of‘ sections get. I mean I sort of knew this already, but I had no idea of how much it would improve.
So please, go rate all of your favorite. . .and not so favorite applications!

We went from ~400 ratings to a whopping 4476 ratings. I have to say this is one of the best contests to date so far. I will be going through the rest of the ratings in the next day or two. . .
Everyone only has 7 days to get in their chances to win this contest. This has been one of the biggest contest InstallerApps.com has thrown.
When I started the contest there were only ~400 ratings. . .there’s ~3200 now.
The reason everyone should rate the applications is right HERE. Those ‘best of’ pages have become so much more useful now. This is the reason why I require readers to register. . .so there is no cheating. The more honest you rate the applications. . .the better those best of pages will get.
As of right now, everyone has Fifteen more days to go and rate as many applications/themes as you can.
I have noticed some users(I am watching all ratings) aren’t going back and rating some of our older applications. You are allowed to do this.
Remember each rating gets you a spot in this contest. If I were you, I would be going through each category and see if I have rated the applications in each one.

So I have been working on another website for the past 2-3 weeks. I don’t have that much extra time but the little bit that I do has been going into this new project.
I got a few complaints about posting Summerboard Themes a couple months back. After much thought I decided to quit posting them here and let the website concentrate on just iPhone/iPod Touch applications. Which is too bad since I got so close to 100 Summerboard Themes.
