So you just go an iPhone or iPod Touch. . .you have browsed the applications listed here at InstallerApps.com. . .and now you want to put these apps on your device.
Where to begin? Below I will go through, step by step the process you will need to go through to start putting 3rd party applications on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
1. Jailbreak
To get the application ‘Installer’ onto your iPhone or iPod Touch you need to ‘jailbreak’ your device. You can do this very easy with ZiPhone. Go to www.ZiPhone.org to download this application. Connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer. . .open the ZiPhone application. . .and click ‘Jailbreak’ at the top left. After it finishes and reboots your device you will see the ‘Installer’ application icon on your home screen.
2. Sources
You can do 1 of 2 things. . .or you could actually do both if you wanted(at least it wouldn’t break anything if you did). You can either add 1 source to Installer(the custom source from InstallerApps.com). Or you can add dozens and dozens of sources. Either way will give you access to hundreds of applications.
Note - How to Add Sources to Installer
2(a). Custom Repository
To make things easier(and quicker) you can simply add http://iphone.installerapps.com to Installer. Then refresh and you will see the same applications listed here. . .right in your iPhone or iPod Touch.
2(b). Original Sources
Alternatively you can click here for a list of every source for applications listed here at InstallerApps.com.
3. Install Applications
After you ‘refresh’ Installer, click the ‘install’ button at the bottom. You can either browse by categories, you can check the ‘most recent’ applications released, or you can browse all applications. If you know exactly what you want to install, click ‘All Packages’ and then at the top you’re given a search box. This gives you quick access to specific iPhone apps that you want to install.
